Positive Reinforcement and Positive Punishment Towards a Healthier Life!
By CHRIS ROSENBLOOM, Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The article talks about how people mentally affilate serving sizes and about this book:
Mindless Eating
By Brian Wansink
I just ordered the book, I wonder if it is good. The reviews are great.
Anyway, portioning takes a lot of work and research, plus allowing yourself credit for exercise that you do! I struggle to be consistent with this kind of activity.
Reading and article like this and hearing about how other people struggle with the same mistakes in logic makes me feel better and makes me think twice when I make choices...at least for a few days!

Sorry about the formatting! I am too worn out to monkey around with it now...
This is how I lost weight:
I reduced my calorie intake to slightly under maintenance.
I increased my calorie output by walking three-4 miles a week and doing yoga 3 or 4 times a week.
In two years I lost 20 pounds, Which is what I was overweight by. I think that the same approach would reap larger losses for heavier people and lesser losses for lighters.
eat less, exercise more.
And if you snack, eat only good food.
